Sunomono

sunomono Sunomono is a type of Japanese dish which is made by mixing some ingrente to vinedgar ( "Awase zu) which is made by mixing some seasonings to vinegar.

This photo is a sunomono of Wakame and sliced cucumber.
In my case, I mix Wakame, and sliced cucumber, vinegar and sugar.

I have had this before in Japanese restaurants, but I never made them. It looks delicious!

I love the colors, but is this like a pickled type of dish or more a salad?

I had sunomono the other day when we went to a japanese resto...its a different version because they made a salad with vinegar dressing, I asked for surimi and ebi to replace the fishes in the salad :D
