"Aji" means Japanese horse mackerel.
It is one of blue back fish and rich in DHA and EPA.
We usually fillet aji.
Take out bones from it.
Sprinkle salt and pepper on it.
Coat it with wheat flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumb.
And deep-fry it in salada oil until browned.
We usually squeeze lemon on it, and put worcester sauce or tartare sauce on it, befor we eat it.

Add a poached egg with it and it's a very English breakfast. I love mackerel.

Thanks Mirage.
I'ts chicken Katsu?
I haven't had this, but it looks and sounds delicious.
Do you cook this food that is so beautifully prepared and served?
I have had King Mackerel , long ago, tho. It is very good. I like fish very much. Where I live, Salmon is the big famous fish, and Copper River Sockeye is the very best of the salmon.
It comes form The Copper River in Alaska.
(Seasonally, twice a year only). It is a moist dark colored salmon. I like it prepared simply, add lemon perhaps. The flavor is so good.
